1. Who we are

Diamond Legend ("we", "us") is operated by Terry Pugh, an individual sole proprietor (the "Seller"). For the personal data described in this notice, the Seller acts as the data controller and decides how and why your personal data is processed.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up.
• Subscription status: whether you hold an active Pro subscription, plan tier, and renewal state.
• Game data: your franchise saves, preferences, and gameplay history (primarily stored locally in your browser; account-linked saves are stored on our servers).
• Support / feedback: messages you send us, including beta feedback.
• Technical data: IP address, device, browser, and basic usage telemetry needed to operate the service and prevent abuse.

Payment card details are never collected or stored by us. Stripe (see Section 5) collects and processes payment information directly.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

• Provide the service (account, saves, subscription access) — performance of a contract with you.
• Process payments and prevent fraud — performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
• Customer support — performance of a contract and legitimate interest.
• Service improvement and analytics — legitimate interest in improving the product.
• Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests) — legal obligation.
• Marketing emails (if any) — only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for account databases, access controls and least-privilege for administrative access, and routine security review of our hosting providers.

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipient:

• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") — payment processor and, for eligible transactions, Merchant of Record. Stripe processes all payments for Diamond Legend, manages subscriptions, calculates and (where it acts as Merchant of Record) remits sales tax/VAT/GST, issues receipts, and handles refund and dispute requests. When you check out, Stripe receives your name, email, billing address, and payment details directly. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers (cloud database, edge functions, storage) acting as processors on our behalf.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably necessary.
• Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal data. We work with advertising partners (see Section 9) that may collect information via cookies on our public content pages only.

6. Data retention

• Account data: kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account closure (longer if needed to meet legal obligations).
• Subscription and transaction records: retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.
• Support messages: up to 2 years after the matter is resolved.
• Local game saves: remain on your device until you clear browser storage or uninstall the app.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw any consent you previously gave, at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

8. International transfers

Our hosting providers and Stripe may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the EEA/UK. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data during transfer.

9. Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies and local storage required to sign you in and keep your game saves — these are always on.

On our public content pages only (the landing page, About, Studio, Blog, How to Play, Changelog, Contact, Pricing, and legal pages), we display advertising through third-party ad partners including Google AdSense and Ezoic. These partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to serve ads, measure their performance, and — where you consent — personalize them. Advertising cookies and scripts are never loaded on the authenticated game screens (dashboard, roster, simulation, trades, etc.).

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a consent banner (Google-certified CMP) appears on public pages before any advertising cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Consent" link the banner provides. 10. Children

Diamond Legend is rated for ages 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) without verifiable parental consent.

11. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email.
