Roadmap
Diamond Legend is a living, evolving game. Here's what's shipped, what we're building, and where we're headed.
We publish this roadmap because Diamond Legend is built in the open by a very small independent team, and because the order we build things in is a genuine question that players have opinions about. Everything in the "Recently Completed" list below is live in the game today and playable right now — it is not a promise, it is a changelog.
Our release cadence is weekly during beta. That is deliberately fast and deliberately small: a week is short enough that a bad decision gets caught by real players before it calcifies, and small releases are far easier to roll back than large ones. Every shipped change is recorded in the changelog in order, with dates.
How we prioritize, roughly in order: bugs that lose player progress come first and jump every queue; systems that other systems depend on come next, because building on top of an unfinished foundation is how projects stall; then depth on features players are actively using; then new features. This is why the farm system and simulation work landed before cosmetic and social features, even though the latter are more immediately visible.
Items in "Coming Next" are committed but unscheduled. We do not publish dates, because a two-person team missing a public date repeatedly is worse for trust than shipping quietly when the work is actually done. If something you care about is missing from this list entirely, tell us — closed alpha feedback has already reordered this roadmap more than once, and the postseason day-by-day controls and team abbreviation customization both exist because players asked for them.
